NOW THAT’S A FIRE

While fishing Jupiter Inlet the other day, I witnessed and impressive sight. What started out as a tiny column of smoke in the background, turned into the mother of all conflagrations. The column of smoke was so large that it looked like it was starting to create it’s own weather. The illusion of depth made it look like the ocean front middle class neighborhood on the North side of the inlet was in danger. Actually, the source was a safe distance away in Jonathan Dickinson State Park. And a check of the news that night revealed that is was even a park ranger controlled burn.
